Where do I begin?!?

Colton Gibson Webb arrived at 3:25 pm 6/27 Thursday. Brian had knee surgery that day so we stayed back to help him. 

Cruz and I headed to DFW on Friday afternoon. Mental note don't travel with Cruz when he's fresh from a nap. He cried. I stopped and consoled him several times on the way up. We visited Colton Friday night for a short time then spent the night with Grama!  Cruz didn't sleep well over there. He's very aware of his environment and because it was new he was up every 2 hours!  Ugh!  Yesterday (sat) we were at the hospital most of the day. Cruz is rolling every way and making new squeals.  It's so funny. Today we went over to Matt and Sarah's to help. Colt is so sweet. His cries are little whimpers. Not like Cruzer these days :) 

Now we are at Aunt Janet's house. We are going to sleep here tonight and visiting Grama's work then visiting Grandma Cakes house before we head home! It's been a busy weekend!  Looking forward in getting back to some normalcy and seeing Brian/ Daddy.

Cruz did great with his shots although you can tell they are bothering him. He hasn't slept the greatest and had wanted comfort through nursing. Last time between 11 and 12 he nursed for 45 min!  Hopefully this awakening he'll nurse for a shorter time. Mama's gotta sleep. 

Someone else not getting any sleep?!?  Matt, Sarah, and Colton. Sarah's water broke last night. I just heard from Matt. He said "not bad just plugging along."  Around 10 pm she was dilated at a 3. Now at 3am she's dilated to a 4.  No epidural yet (she's not planning in getting one!) Praying for their family. Can't wait to meet this little guy (Cruz's BFF)!!!

Water baby

Cruz and I went to the Y and he got into the water. He had a blast. We didn't stay very long - 1 hour - because I didn't want him to burn. He has baby skin that is really sensitive anyway. We will be back soon. I loved watching him enjoying himself. I've come to realize that I'm happy if Cruz is happy. Is that a sign of a mom or what!?!

Oh and Colton is still in the oven!

Milestone moment: Back to Belly

Cruz had been trying to roll over this way for weeks. He's been rolling over belly to back since he was 2 1/2 months old. He did it in slow motion but the key is he did it!  Good job baby boy!  Mommy's so proud of you!

We went to a bday party yesterday 

This morning he woke up at 4 am and was wide awake. He went back to sleep at 5:30 till 8ish (I woke up and saw him entertaining himself with his lovey (blue puppy dog blanket) and his fingers)

We went for a short walk today. It is hot and sunny. My friend Andrea and her little baby joined us. Couldn't walk too long because of the sun. He will have his shade in a couple of days. I also bought a battery operated fan to clip on the stroller. 

Today we have baby story time at 2.

Lazy Sunday and Cruz's stats!

I feel like this is the perfect time to update this since Cruzer is sleeping on me. First off, his sleep has been awesome over the last 3 days. He's slept 5 to 7 hours in the long stretch. Last night was 7 hours. It probably would have been longer but I saw him being a little restless and my boobs were leaking so I got him up to eat. 

He has had diarreah over couple of days. My doctor told me to give him rice cereal. I did on Friday but didn't see it helping. Only thing it did was make him skip a feeding.  

We have a friend's daughter bday today. Some of the people that will be there haven't met Cruz :)

The kids are here this weekend. Tayton will probably sleep late. He loves to stay up late. When I got up to feed Cruz he was still up. Kayden is happy watching tv. Reminds me when I was a kid on summer vacation. Cruz and I made chocolate chip pancakes for them.

About 17 pounds

Doesn't fit in 3 month clothes. 3 to 6 is way better

He's size 2 diaper although once I run out of size 2 he will start size 3

Hair is starting to come in more. Eyelashes are longer than mine!

Eyes are still blue. Looks like he's going to keep his daddy's eyes

Rolls over belly to back but not all the time. 

Tummy time is still not his friend

He is grabbing his right foot/ toes with his right hand. He's obsessed with this. 

He wants to put everything in his mouth. The gym with toys is entertaining him but also aggravates him too. He grabs these toys and tries to get them in his mouth. He's upset when he can't get them to his mouth. 

He wakes up between 5:30 and 6:30. I bring him into bed with me and try to get him to sleep with me a little longer. 

He coo's all the time. He will entertain himself by talking

I love to make him laugh. 

Cruz you're almost 4 months old!  You're growing up so fast. You are a ray of sunshine. I love to make you smile. I love cuddling with you. You are a dream come true. I love being your mommy!!!
