A bath

In the big boy tub happened today. 

You have my heart. I love watching you grow. You make me so proud. My little baby you will always be. Each day gets even better. I love being your mommy.  Your smile melts my heart. Your cry tears me up inside. You laugh I can't get enough of. You enthusiasm lights up a room. Your intensity is magnified. Your personality is electric. I love you more than I can imagine. 

Time flies

Cruz and I are getting over a stomach virus. That sucked. He was in good spirits despite being tired yesterday. Last week his Daddy watched him and he had a play date with Brielle while I worked at Francescas. I officially started yesterday. I need to get ahead because the work is a lot for a part time job. We went to Fort Worth last weekend for the Alz walk. We also visited Grama and Colton.  And your 8 months old yesterday!!!  

Slept in the crib

And mama slept on the floor. I only fed Cruz once at 3am. I talked to him and let him cry. He only cried for 5 mins each time. I held his hand and rubbed his face while he was in the crib. He slept better than cosleeping. I'm exhausted and my body hurts from being on the floor. Small price to pay to help both of us sleep better. He's still sleeping. 

It's been a while

Normally I post pictures on Instagram. This blog is an afterthought for pictures but there's no other medium to just share my feelings so here we are!  

It's 10/18 at 10:22am. It's finally fall. It's 61 degrees outside. I am retiring shorts for jeans and actually able to wear long sleeves. Cruz is crawling and pulling up. Last night, to my dismay, he climbed up most of the stairs with Brian and Kayden's supervision. It was amount Evrest to him and he did it. We are having a blast with him. My mom/ Gramma came into town last weekend to hangout with Cruz. She also watched him on One night so we could go to the Kid Cudi concert. Although I was sad to leave Cruz I knew he was in good hands. Brian and I had a great time. We felt like we were on our first date. Completely carefree!  

We're getting pictures done this weekend for Christmad if you can believe it!
